What
Funfest is an independent annual two day indoor festival, focused on punkrock, hardcore, emo and everything inbetween. The First Funtime Festival (as a two day fest) was held in 2000. The main purpose of the festival is to combine young and upcoming national and international bands with already settled bands. In the past, bands like Converge, Himsa, Caliban, Minus The Bear, Stretch Armstrong, Undying, Liar, PN, Circle, Undeclinable, Waterdown, Against All Authority, Elliott, My Awesome Compilation, The Set Up, Rise and Fall, 100 Demons, Bongzilla, Reiziger, Shandon, Cornflames, Million Dead played their heart and guts out , among dozens of other bands...

Where
Originally, Funtime Fest was held at the Sojo club in Leuven (in the centre of Belgium, Europe). But the festival outgrew this wellknown and respected concert club and moved to the bigger Silo Club (Leuven). Three editions were held at this club and since last year, the fest is moved to a brandnew concertclub, called De Klinker. De klinker is a brandnew club, situated in Aarschot (at 10 min's driving from Leuven with great accomodation, a lot of parking space and great opportunities concerning catering, backstage etc..

When
The funtime festival is always held at the end of september/beginning of october.
This year's edition is set for the 23 TH OF SEPTEMBER.
About 10 bands will perform at this year's edition.
Doors open at 12h and the first band kicks of at 13h.

Who
Funtime Festival is organised by Funtime Records/concerts/radio. We've been doing shows for almost 10 years now on a very regular base. Most of these concerts are held at the Sojo Club in Leuven or De Klinker in Aarschot. Others were held at various locations. The past 9 years, hundreds of bands from all over the world have rocked our stages. Here are some names : Jimmy Eat World, International Noise Conspiracy, Randy, Pridebowl, Venerea, Damnation Ad, Crivits, Chixdiggit, Diesel Boy, Pop Unknown, Biffy Clyro, Raised Fist, Misconduct, Within Reach, Snuff, Abhinanda, Nine, Undeclinable, Useless ID, Whippersnapper, Congress, Reveal, Five Days off, Scarrots, Soon, Facedown, Homer, Reach The Sky, Reveal, Pop Unknown, Logh, I Against I, The Sedan Vault , Convict, Heideroosjes...

Besides a record label, we've always been involved in organising shows, doing a radioshow on Radio Scorpio and publishing a magazine (magazine has been stopped).
