Third Season was founded when the punkrockband Chipmunk broke up some years ago. The passion for oldskool hardcore, combined with a love for melody and sheer intensity, resulted in this new band called Third Season. Since then, the band eveolved from a five piece unit into a solid four piece band with all ingredients needed to rock out and inspire. Inspiration, dedication and clever lyrics that have something to say and a passion for music, results in moving shows with a big participation of the crowd. Third Season was without a doubt one of the hardest working bands in the Belgian scene. Without any official record out, they did two small uk tours , playing with bands like f.e. xCanaanx and Grade and played all over Belgium. In the spring of 2002, Third Season headed for Dé Studio in Asse to records their first ep, with the productional help of Dirk Miers. The result of this recording session was released by Funtime Records in august of 2002 and a few weeks after this release, the band falls apart. What they leave behind is some memorable shows (f.e concert at funfest 2002) a,nd an explosive ep with a great combination of agression and melody, oldskool and some newskool. Be sure to get a hold on this beautiful testament. Most members are active in In Arm’s Reach these days, a great agressive oldskool hc band.
